A booking system is operated whereby members telephone in to book their journey, normally at least 24 hours notice is required. The Dial-A-Ride buses may be booked outside of normal hours, if prior arrangements are made.

Where Can I Go With DAR
Almost any type of journey can be undertaken by Dial-A-Ride members, this includes shopping trips, attending the Doctors, Dentist or Hospital, visiting the Library, friends and, even the airport! We can also arrange transport for you to visit family and friends in Hospital.

Raising Money
Dial-A-Ride Volunteers are always looking for new ways to raise funds to keep operational. With the help of grants and donations, both large and small, this is an on going project to be able to continue and maintain it's present level of service We need to raise £120,000.00 a year.

Naturally, we don't want Dial-A-Ride to remain at it's present level, we want to expand and to take our specialist services further a field than we do already, out into the outlying area's of Newtown, Welshpool, Montgomery, Llanidloes and Llanfair Caereinion.

Dial-A-Ride provides a vital link for the young and old but, to keep this available for the community of Mid-Wales, we need the generous support of the public and industry in fundraising donating and the recruiting of volunteers.
